Labels per sheet calculator
Find the rows and columns that fit your paper, labels, margins, and gaps.
Sheet preview
Scaled view of the selected paper.
Fix the highlighted inputs to see the sheet.
No labels fit with these measurements.
The grid has more than 400 labels. Preview and export are limited to protect browser performance.
Result
% of the paper area is covered by labels, with labels rotated.
The margins use all or more than the available paper size.
No label fits. Reduce the label size or margins, or enable rotation.
The measurements need correction before a result can be calculated.
The printer correction moves at least one label beyond the page edge; it may be clipped.
Print at Actual Size / 100%. Check a calibration sheet first; printer margins may shift or clip the result.
How to use it
- Choose A4, US Letter, or enter custom paper dimensions.
- Measure one label, each page margin, and both gaps.
- Compare the rows and columns. Enable rotation when label orientation can change.
This calculates a simple aligned grid. It does not account for a printer's nonprintable edges or staggered commercial stock.
Worked example
On A4 paper (210 × 297 mm), 60 × 30 mm labels with 10 mm margins and 3 mm gaps fit 3 columns × 8 rows = 24 labels. The preview uses those values by default.
Common question
Does the preview guarantee print alignment? No. Printer scaling and unprintable margins can change the physical result. Print at Actual Size / 100% and check a calibration sheet.
